General Fit Tips

When trying on a dry wetsuit on land, it will always feel tighter than in the water. Neoprene expands slightly and becomes more flexible once wet.

A good rule of thumb is that the wetsuit should feel like pants that are just one size too small; they fit you, but you feel they might split if you sat down quickly. You should have full mobility and be able to zip it up easily, and it should never restrict your breathing—if it does, it's too small.

Note on Our Size Guides: Measurements are taken with the wetsuit lying flat and unstretched. The wetsuit will give both with use and in water, adapting to your body during swimming. Select a size based on the measurements closest to yours.

Temperature and Season:

The Tackey Elite performs optimally in water temperatures between 10 and 26 degrees Celsius. In Danish waters, this means a full season from mid-April to the end of September.

Maintenance for Longevity:

To protect your investment, rinse the wetsuit in cold fresh water after each use. Avoid direct sunlight while drying and always store it on a wide hanger across the middle to preserve the neoprene's structure and elasticity in vital areas.
